85 hp mariner

my m8t has a 85 hp the serial no on the transom 5893793 or something difficult to read as the plate is scratched i searched this no on the net for parts & they say does not exist , any help would be appreciated . thks

Comes up as follows:

85 4731898 - 1977 (all after 4731898 were built in 1977 and the 85hp was only built for that year)

thanks for the info , he wants me to fix the block the crank sleeve & 1 piston is cooked , i don't know these motors , iam to find my way around will fix the cause of it first , thks cheers .
