85 johnson 150 hooking up temp alarm

i have a 150 johnson and it did not have a temp alarm on it would it be ok if i put one on if so where do i buy them at

I'll bet the sensors are on the cylinder heads (tan leads) and the control unit has a horn. See attached for typical wiring.
