<deleted misc rambling due to me not being able to get it started>

We'll take her out on the lake and see how she does, then worry about the numbers.

That 90 psi reading ain't so hot, especially if it's #1. Might indicate a previous overheat. Or could just be carbon buildup.

Check again after running, if still a bit low it might be time to do a decarbonization with Seafoam, OMC Power Tune, etc.............ed

This engine was running fine last year ("both times" I started it) before I put it up, but I've never had it in the water. This year, it didn't want to keep running, so I started checking fuel & ignition systems, then did a compression check. Was thinking low compression was the culprit.

However, I noticed after tinkering w/ it that an inline fuel filter would mist out gas when the primer bulb was squeezed. That would mean the fuel pump would be sucking air. Removed that (temporarily) and it ran fine.

I will decoke it shortly. Hopefully it's just stuck rings. The 90psi was from top cylinder (1).

There is a buzzer in my control box. Is that a high temp warning?
