Another issue with this thing, I took it out the other day backed it off the trailer went cruising for a bit and headed back to the ramp, Before I got to the ramp I wanted to be sure I could go in reverse and, you guessed it, no reverse. As a matter of fact, when I tried to pull the throttle back it went forward. I had this outdrive completely rebuilt last season with a brand new shift cable ($500.00+). if it did come loose is it very hard to fix? When I was tinkering with the outdrive, prior to the rebulid I accidently pinched the old cable and caused a leak in the lower unit. I do not want to have to replace that cable again. So what is my best best as far as troubleshooting this problem.
Oh yeah, it is very difficult to get it into neutral. I have to pull the lever backwards past the neutral point to get it in neutral.
Thanks in advance for your help guys!
