I have searched a lot for this already but had no luck, can someone either help me step by step on how to add grease to the tilt clutch instead of oil...and how to grease the tube (can't recall if it has a proper name) that it pivots on or post a link to a video or two. I swear I had watched one before but I am giving up after 2 hours of searching for them again just now...lol.

Tilt goes down just fine but has to be assisted once in awhile when raising. Battery seems in good working order / charged, since it does work sometimes on it's own and always with someone helping raise it I am ruling out solenoids for now.

Thank you.

Try loosening the 4 bolts under the rubber covers about 1/2 turn. Sometimes the trunnions ears do not have any grease and are binding. There are grease fittings under the covers.
Check that all electrical connections at the solenoids are not corroded.
Blue wires for up and green wires down.
If that does not help then you need a new tilt motor.
Real easy to change, 1/2” universal socket with a extension and ratchet.
Be careful with the spring loaded “hammer blow” coupling spring not to stretch it. There is a plastic washer on both sides of the coupling.
Only use oil in the tilt clutch housing.

Thank you Kenny, will go out in awhile and try those bolts and add some grease. Speaking of that, I have had several things that get jammed up from old grease like this, wonder if PB blaster would work or help free things up if they were to make a version of the penetrating oil in a grease gun setup with a fitting for zerks. My last two kicker motors really took some muscle and time to free up on the tilt tubes as well as a couple steering cables in the past...I could never get enough PB blaster into the right areas and thought how I would like to try a zerk version of it.
