85 or 86 mercury 25xd timing procedure

Hello all, I got a mercury 25 hp xd I am looking for the timing procedure. Got the motor couple years ago in rough shape. Rebuilt carb fixed all the linkage as well. The timing adjust linkage was broke when I got it. Replaced the linkage and adjusted as close as I could. It runs good at top speed and idle but I know it's off a little. Really looking for some pics of the procedure from the manual. No luck with the on line manuals. Really appreciate any guidance I could get.
