85hp Chrysler Parts!

Trying to find a good used trigger for a 1983 85hp Chrysler. This is a Prestolite system, but I can't find a part # on the trigger unit. The engine model # is 858h36. Might also be interested in a 90hp or so whole used engine.<br />Anybody have or know a good supplier?

Leeler...I got a couple of distributors in the shop...may be able to help you out...those things should be available new tho if you look around the net for "Chrysler marine parts"...just a Thought<br />edit:what I have is for a Magnapower ignition so don't know if it will work...<br />goin fishin tomato

Thanks Thought, but the Prestolite system uses a crank sensor under the flywheel and 3 coils rather than a distributor w/ one coil. I dont know if I could add a dist. in lieu of this electronic ign. system.

Found the trigger unit locally. A place called Lanier Marine Flea Market & Salvage has tons of outboard parts and other stuff. His price was $30 for a used- a place in NY wanted $175.<br />770-539-9353 www.lakelaniermarine.net
