can anyone tell me what the correct idle needle setting should be and what does the expression lightly seated actually mean and how do you feel for this.
Thanks in anticipation.......

And the motor runs great at high rpm but runs dog rough and stalls all the time when in neutral?

Lightly seated means just that--you screw in the needle using gentle pressure on the driver until it stops. You do NOT grunt it in.

As for settings, start with 1 1/4 turns out. See my recent post about synchronizing carbs and timing.
