85hp force no power

Hi everyone,
The story is went out on the lake today and couldn't get over 15mph on my boat i have 85 model 85hp force. Any suggestions?

check for good spark and good compression on all cylinders. next check carbs. probley since your down go ahead and give them a good cleaning. also check all fuel lines and primer bulb make sure its not collapsing. check vent tube for gas tank and your fuel pump as well. thats always my first things

When was the last time you serviced the fuel pump. Fuel pump diaphrams are known to go bad (tear). Good luck, let us know what you find!
