85HP Johnson year????

Hi guys, can anyone tell me what year this Johnson motor is, I know its a 85HP but Im not sure of the year, it says 85 ESL 75 E<br /><br /> Thanks <br /> Joe

Thanks JB, just pick up the motor today 8/12/05 looks to be in good shape. I never had a big motor, putting it on a 1986 18.5 foot Skeeter bass boat. I sure hope the Gods are good to me.<br /> Thanks<br /> Joe
