I have read all the posts that I can find, and searched this site and the web, and I cannot find a source for the valve body parts, much less a parts diagram showing what the parts are. If anyone knows a source, please let me know.
From looking at the diagram in the Seloc manual, it appears there are two poppet valves, probably relief valves related to the transition from the trim to the tilt cylinders. There are also three ball type check valves, which I assume are the source of the problem.
Can I disassemble the valve body without removing the electric motor/oil reservoir? From what I see, pulling the motor means taking it apart, and I don't want to break something that is working.
Also, can I drain the cylinders of all oil, so that when I put the thing back together, I know that there is less crud in the system. If I drain the cylinders, how do I refill the system? I would assume that I put some oil in the reservoir, run it into the cylinders, repeat ad nauseum until the system is filled, then purge out the air by running it up and down with the fill plug out. Is this right, or am I missing something?
