Engine cranks, fuel in cylinders, spark tester lites orange on all three, sometimes fades out as cranking continues.
Resistance readings match chart.
DVA readings good, except for blue wire coming out of stator, which reads 90v instead of 180v. Is the stator bad or is something else dragging the voltage down? Thanks MartyD

First you need a spark gap as a neon will show orange at a very low voltage. 90 volts is pretty low and I doubt if the engine will start on it, again you need to test the coil output with a spark gap before doing anything.

Thanks for the reply Laddies, finally got a gap tester, bright blue with tester at 7/16. Maybe I need to back up a little.
Motor was new to me, would start up, run poorly. Gas pouring out of carbs, would not idle down. Would not charge ,rectifier blown, yellows from rectifier are now pulled and insulated. Pulling wire off 1 or 2 plug would not affect idle, but pull #3 and engine died. Installed carb kit, set new floats, re installed carbs, now a no start. Thanks MartyD

It sounds like you have fire on all 3 cyls and the engine ran before you cleaned the carbs but poorly so if it was me I would think that the poblem must be in the carbs somewhere. Hows the compression?
