I can't get the motor to start with the key. I have replaced the key switch and the solenoid already. When I turn the key to the first position the fuel pumps come on, but in "start" nothing happens. I have used an jumper wire between the top post of the solenoid and the top "engage" post of the solenoid and the engine turns over. I have disconnected the black/yellow wire at the key switch and substituted a jumper wire from its post at the switch and the single wire lead into the power pack (to check for a possible short in the black/yellow wire) and nothing happens. Does this mean I have a bad power pack or did I miss something. The last few times on the water the engine would shut off after a few minutes at 4000 rpms and not start again for 5-10 minutes.
