Guys,
I have an 86 Force 125. Rebuilt the powerhead about 3 months ago. Motor runs great idles smooth. Have 10 hours on it with double oil. My question is at WOT i am only turning 4200 Rpms. Thant is with two people and a full tank of gas. I am running a 15pitch prop so I cant go any lower. It is a 18.5 ft. The tach is new, not that it cant be wrong but motor sounds like it is turning what the tack is saying. Dont know how fast i am going speedometer is not correct. Had the timing and carbs rebuilt and synched by a pro.
Any ideas on what I can do to increase wot rpm. Thanks in advance :p

A couple of thoughts, seems daft but are you getting full throttle? Or is the double oil weakening the fuel mixture too much?Maybe try it with the normal 50:1.Is the timing correct at WOT?

By the way I have the same motor on a 20ft Capri and it pulls great,or I thought it did until I tried keeping up with a mate this weekend in his Bayliner Cobra V8!!!! I dont know what speed or revs its doing as the guages are bust but it cannot be far off max and thats with a 17 prop.
Good luck.

I wouldn't do anything until your back on a 50:1 oil mixture.
