please give a little history, did this just start, or did you just start using the boat after it sat for the winter (or longer). did anyone work on it prior to it acting this way? did you just buy the vessel, if it was winterized prior to this hapening, what was done to winterize it and what was done when you took it out?

you didnt mention the fuel filters, have you changed those? also have you checked the fuel lines, are they sucking closed when you are at wot, just because they look good on the outside doesnt mean they are good on the inside.

I have an 87 Force 125HP with same problem. Two different mechanics told me my lower carburetor is bad - but neither can find the parts/replacement.

Re: 86 FORCE 125hp bogs at WOT

A white colored plug is caused by engine overheating. Failure to repair this engine will result in severe engine damage. Common causes for this are:

Incorrect spark plug (too hot heat range).

Low octane fuel.

Timing is not set properly.

Cooling problems, (dirty cylinder fins, no or low water if water cooled, low or no engine oil).

Carburetor air/fuel mixture is too lean (too much air).

Leaking crankshaft seals, no oil, base or head gasket leaks, or crankcase leaks on two stroke engines.

I will look my plugs are the flat champion ul18v i think there is no gapping to them

Sounds like a fuel delivery problem. WOT is where fuel delivery is at its highest. The fuel system seems like it's just not keeping up. Have you tried pumping the bulb at WOT? There could be a restriction in the fuel line or the floats aren't set properly.

Did you figure this out yet? Mine started doing the same thing today. Worked fine the last time out, now it wants to cut out at WOT. I have a clear fuel filter and I can see its empty.

There are three check valves inside the fuel pump housing. If they are sticking it will give you those kinds of symtoms. They cost $5 each, two are easy to change, one requires some finesse.
