"Bent a little bit" is a little vague.a little to one guy could be a lot to the next guy.Safest thing is to get it fixed.especially if you sense the slightest vibration.Besides possible damage to your lower unit you are no doubt losing some efficiency and at $4 a gallon wouldn't take long to be losing money. This could be a time to upgrade.Keep the bent prop for a spare and get a new prop to improve your performance/economy.what is your present prop size and max rpm and speed.

Stick with your original posting. Gets very confusing with multiple posts.
Get your prop fixed a prop shop can tell you the size. Take her for a test run
Get max rpm and speed and prop size to us along with typical load and activity. We can suggest if prop is needed.

You should buy a tach or repair your tach.A tiny tach is reasonable, easy to install and will work on any similar motor without regard to poles.
Actual speed by a speedometer or GPS is necessary.and of course prop size.
Without proper specs a prop selection can't be made nor can you tell if the setup is ideal. It is critical that the motor operate within its recomended rpm range operating outside the range gives poor performance and can cause premature engine failure.Without a tach you won't be able to tell if you are operating within specs.
Your present prop may be ok for cruising with that load but again you need the tach to be sure.Max rpm with no load should be at least 5,500 rpm or the
rpm with your typical load will be too low. With the proper setup its ok to run at reduced speeds.Operating with an ideal setup will help get the best economy as well.with your load you will no doubt need to go to a lower pitch when pulling tubes etc without a tach you won't know your rpm with the change and you could over rev the motor.
