ok found a guy on craigslist where i live that has a 1970's model 85 force for a hundred bucks that has a bad lower end.... is it worth buying? for parts anyway?
If you have a lot of space and want to open a junk yard,then yes buy everything you can.There is a lot of $$$ in parts.
In three months I paid for a trip to Alaska by selling used parts. Mercruiser is the best seller.
Almost anything will sell,but don't be bothered by little things:connectors,old cables, wiring.Don't throw it away someone mighht need it.
I had a set of carbs off an old chrysler that got 125$..Good luck,J
