Well here we go!
I've just gotten my hands on my first project which I quickly got stuck in my yard (see thread here http://forums.iboats.com/showthread.php?t=426093)
but am working away on getting things up & running.
I'm focused now on bellows, impeller, motor, etc but trying to get an idea of what I need to do for the hull. Most of the finish is in good shape with a few scratches here & there but the back of the boat was exposed to the sun and is in bad shape. There are also a few good dings & areas where the fiberglass is exposed on the bottom of the hull. I'm not too worried about it looking pretty at this point - just don't want to do more damage when its in the water.
Any ideas on the best approach? I'm still getting up to speed on some of the great info here and could use some advice on materials, approach, etc.
Thanks!
