86 gt200 prop shaft hub stuck

Hi, I have a 86 gt200 that needs new seals and o rings in the prop hub. I removed the 4 bolts in the back of the hub and still can't pull it out. I am using a puller and a little heat. How much heat is too much, and is the hub located in the housing radially. I want to tap the puller to rotate it to maybe break the bond. Any suggestions would be a great help, thanks.

If it's a saltwater motor, it may take lots of force and judicious use of heat for the bearing carrier to come free.
