So I take my boat of storage and hook up a battery to try and start it. Immediately the power trim cruises all the way up, and will not go down. As soon as the battery is connected, the trim motor starts humming and raising the motor.
If I go to the trim toggle-switch on the throttle and hold the trim switch down, the trim motor stops running completely, but stays in the full up position.
I've disconnected the switch that is mounted on the side of the motor casing, same problem. Now I'm looking for suggestions.
