'86 Merc 4.3L 205 Alpha 1 Impeller Replacement

Hey Everyone,

I am going to be replacing the Impeller on my merc outdrive and was wondering if I could get some guidance. I have never done it before and the last time it was done was about 5 years ago by the marina. Since my dad has given me the boat I am DIY for cost purposes, successful so far.

Is there anywhere that clearly explains the process?

Any tips or anything I should look out for in the process?

Any help would be great. Thanks in advance everyone.

should i do the bellows while im at it? how often should they be done? would a visual inspection be sufficient for another season?

Ayuh,... The service life is 5 to 8 years...
