I bought this boat last year and everytime I load the boat back on the trailer, it's a nerve wrecking experience! I believe the issue is that the distance from the front roller to the front edge of the front bunk is 6 and a half feet! The bow of the boat is practically impossible to keep in line.
My brother in law's ranger boat trailer has the bunks that once you get half way up the trailer, they practically guide the boat straight up to the front roller.
Was wondering if anyone has had this issue with this type of boat trailer (or another type)?
Im thinking I need another set of bunks towards the front of the trailer!?
I'd appreciate any help!

Are you power loading? Unless I'm missing something, the winch should pull the bow up onto the front roller.

Pics might help.

I back the trailer in until the water level is about to the top of the wheel guards. That seems to be the best level. Im trying to drive the boat all the way up the trailer until the keel seats at the front roller stop, then I attach the strap and crank it tight.
I guess my issue is I can't seem to find a happy medium so the bow seats on the front roller and the stern sits on the bunks! It's either the actual nose of the boat hits the under side of the roller while the belly of the boat sits on the bunks (this happens when I back the trailer in a little shallow) OR the keel of the boat sits nicely on the front roller while the belly of the boat is still floating above the bunks and then is misaligned when I pull the trailer out (this happens when I back the trailer in deep).
I hope I'm explaining this well enough.
I realize the angle of the ramp and the drop off in the water affects how far I need to back in and I'm guessing that backing in deeper is my best option. Im just curious if anyone out there has this kind of boat and trailer (or has had) and has had similar issues and maybe added another set of bunks?

Sounds like you are backing in too far now. I resigned myself long ago (I solo launch/retrieve a lot now) that winching up the last 2 feet or so is fine.
