I've got a few issues with the boat
When we first bought her she ran a little rough but once she warmed up everything seemed fine. But as we ran her more things started to show up
Things like having a hard time turning over after running it for a little while and sitting long enough for it to cool down. Initially I thought it was a fuel line problem so I replaced that. The last time i was out it wouldn't turnover after a run and cooling down for 20 min or so, had to get back in with the kicker. So that wasn't the problem. Checked the plugs & they we're really fouled up. So I replaced the plugs and wires. After toying with it in the driveway I still couldn't get her fired up. After digging around some more it looked like diaphragm in the VRO was toast so I installed a whole new VRO. Then I tried turning it over & it stuck. Shut the power off whacked on the solenoid and it didn't get stuck so I replaced that. Tried her again & it got stuck ..... just to make sure I also replaced the starter which isn't getting enough juice/RPM's to engage the pinion gear.
Here are my questions
We're can I get a 6 post ignition switch with push in choke and what could be causing the lack of juice to the starter?
Just so you know I cleaned all the connections and the batteries test out fine
but still the problem persists.
Oh the outboard is a 86 evinrude 200.
Thanks
