Hi, my crankshaft pulley let go on the weekend and I had to get towed back to shore. The rubber grommet between the pulley and the outer ring disintegrated and the manual states it cannot be re-fastened, obviously because it would no longer be balanced correctly. I'm trying to find a part # but am not having any success. I found an old thread on here about this mentioning a cross reference to a GM part #. Engine s/n is OB483936
I can't even find this part on the web anywhere. Does anyone know a good website for mercruiser parts that are obscure?
Thx

Thanks Don. $271....that sucks. Maybe I'll try the salvage yard to find a GM one that is identical or close to it. Any ideas what GM auto engine would be close? Maybe the 2.5l?
Seems a real injustice to pay that much for a pulley! Oh the joys of boating!lol

Thanks for the info Allen....got one from Joe. 70 bucks+ shipping. Hopefully It will go on in one piece. I'm thinking of using a heavy piece of angle iron and bolts through to the block (where the motor mounts go) to re-seat it. Or the block of wood and BFI if neccessary.
