I cant seem to locate the fuel pump on this motor...Is it in the vro pump?

When its running and I squeeze the bulb, its not getting hard, can squeeze it all the way in while running.

Thanks Mike

fuel pump is part of the vro pump. the bulb is not going to be hard when the motor is running, because, once the motor starts the fuel (VRO) pump, is pulling fuel thru the bulb.

Is there a way to test this ?

I would suspect a pressure and vacuum test.
Didnt know if there is a easier way

is the motor running good? whats the problem? if bad fuel pump you couldnt run WOTor run poorly... do you have an alarm on the boat? low oil flow is a constant beep every 1/2 second

is there a way to test it.. sure there is... http://forums.iboats.com/showthread.php?t=283363

If it Aint Broke Dont fix it

that test is for 4 stroke motors, not 2 stroke. inboard outboards etc.

When I get it up to high RPMs in the water it dont run good, then if I choke it it will run better.
