I use this motor for my trolling motor so I need it to idle when in gear. I just spent $900 bucks at the dealer to get this to run right. The carbs were rebuilt and cleaned by the dealer, o ya all this work was done by the dealer. The reed valves were taken out and found to be good. Vro pump was replaced with a impulse pump. Cylinder comp is 130 on both. Spark was tested and is good and both plugs are new. all wiring was looked at and found to be good no nicks or melted. I have 3 filters in the gas line 2 in the motor and 1 in line and they are full. The mech did bend the timing advance rod a little to get it to idle down at first. It ran great for about the first 7 hours but then went back to run for a couple of minutes to a half hour then die. I cant afford the dealer to come back again at 65 for the service call and 90 an hour and I did talk to him and said he would give me a little break on the charges but I would like to fix it myself and save some money. So what should I do or look for or test.
