87 9.9 merc. lower housing stuck ?

Infamous Seloc manual doesn't state any additional disconnects needed , other than <br />3 attaching bolts , to remove lower unit . <br /> Know from experience on other motors that<br />there usually is . Is there maybe a shift rod<br />disconnect ? Thanks

Yeh thats it you need to disconnect the shift rod where it comes up through the bottom cowl. Just below the carby, If it's an electric start you will have to remove the starting motor.<br />Good luck.
