Have a 87 Mariner 3 cylinder, hard to get started on initial Start up. You can crank and choke in every way possible and it won't start. Let it sit for 10 minutes and it will fire right up and run perfectly the rest of the day. Please help me on what to look for

the experts here are going to want your s/n.
newer versions of this motor like 2000 like mine use a fuel enrichner insted of a choke like you may be accustomed to. I'd check that operation out, make sure fuel lines to enrichner are good etc. or if its old fashioned choke plate make sure it actuates properly. for that matter check all fuel lines especially if you have used ethanol fuel.
