Someone vandalized my '87 Bayliner Capri's internal gas tank. I have installed aux tanks to run the boat, the repair facility doesn't want to deal with the contaminated fuel in the tank. Is there an easier way to empty this unwanted ballast other than removing the fill hose and siphoning?

what i do is, get a hose, that will go thru the transom drain, remove the fuel sending unit. and siphon. as the tank gets empty raise the bow, to get as much as you can.

This got me thinking. . .is there a locking gas cap on the market for boats like his (and mine)? We just have a threded cap on the stern, any moron can open it and do harm.

I'm not sure anyone has engineered such a cap, but someone should!
