I have a water leak somewhere and its now down to the intermediate housing?near the bottom,when filling the boat with water to lookn externally it comes out right above the anode,pulled anode and cant tell,also with enough water in hull it will start to leak into the exhaust boot,,,i am looking from the rear with the lower unit removed and it s visible easily,am i missing something or time to pull engine,?also all bootrs are new they were ripped originally and i figured that was it

Ayuh,.... Welcome Aboard,... It sounds like either the transom is Rotten, or there's a hole in the exhaust down-pipe,...

Or Both,...

The exhaust down tube.
It's sealed with an o-ring.#71
Sometimes it goes bad and leaks or the screws that hold it in place back out.

Spot on ,i yanked the engine this morning and 1 stainless screw was in the bottom and the others were loose,very loose,tightened loctited,and rechecked asll trans om bracket bolts,reassembler tomorrow and try again
