87 Bayliner OMC out drivve problem

I purchased a 87 capri and intend on restoring it I have a problem with the out drive it seems to have water in it and I done know where to look for the issue. It also does shift not easily into forward or reverse but the prop will not turn.

any help would be appreciated 87 bayliner capri 2.3 165

should remove the drive, drain the lube and pressure test it

this will pinpoint the leaky seal

also a good time to inspect the bellows, gimbal ring, coupler, u-joints, etc..

shift issue could be worn shift cable, just go with a new one and adjust properly

Thanks I will remove it and Drain it. What is the best way to pressure test the unit?
