87 Camry mpg at 28.5 now

after replacing fuel filter, deep creep, B12, tires at 32 psi, and auto trans service, replacing leaking exhaust pipe yesterday between cat and muffler($113) driving hard on the "power" switch on tranny. Just filled up tonight($40 yayyyy!), , 11.7 gals at 335 miles after 6 days)now Ill try in normal mode, light pedal. Im thinkin 34 hiway as manual states 32, handles great and spunky AFTER 3K on tach. 2.0 dual cam 4 banger. BOY THIS IS FUN......

You do realize that the power switch only changes the shift points on the transmission and makes it hold each gear longer..... drive it like normal and your mpg will go up.

I filled my Toyota today ......370 miles and had to squeeze in 9 gallons

yup I sure do, lots more sporty performance, especailly around big rigs at the Port this tank, will leave on economy and try not to hit 80 ish......
