87 Johnson J225 TXCUB, NO SPARK

I have a 87 Johnson J225TXCUB, The Boat has been sitting for a long time, got it running after Rebuilding the carbs and misc other things started it and it ran rough because the Gas was over a year old, I thought was the issue. I Tried to start it and after sitting for a week NO spark at all. I have power on the Purple wire to the Rectifier/Regulator but no power coming out of it? I was told that the Rectifier would probably be my problem??????

Find the black/yellow wire coming out of the power pack and disconnect it. If you have spark then you've got a boat wiring prob. If not, mtr prob. The reg/rect has nothing to do with the ign system.

I have 2 CDI power packs neither side has Spark. I have disconnected the the Kill wire and plugged it in, no difference. and Why Spartk last week and now nothing

disconnect the wire harness big red plug and then jump solenoid..see if you have spark then..if not, do post number 2

have you checked the shift interuptor switch make sure wires are on has voltage coming in and out just a thought but my wire came off one side no spark could be that simple
