87 OMC cobra outdrive waterpump issues

I have an 87 5.7 omc, the water flow from the back of the transom is virtually non existant, the flow is so lite that the engine overheats in minutes. I have removed the pump & checked it, replaced the impeller & still the same problem.<br />the hose was removed from the P/S cooler & the flow is the same, so I know that is not clogged.<br />what else can I do while the boat is still in the water? should I pull the boat? ppull the O/D?<br /> has anyone come accros this problem?

IF the Impeller,+ Pumphousing are in Good Shape,......<br />And there's No water flow at the P/S cooler,.....<br />There's a Blockage between the 2........<br /><br />Pull the boat,...<br />Pull the Pump,+ Backflush it.......
