'87 Suzuki DT55 electric choke

The electric choke does not close the butterflies as far as the manual lever, which makes cold starts a bear. The solenoid linkage is adjusted all the way in, (right up to the stop nut.) Does he solenoid bracket need to be adjusted? other?

Follow up. I noticed that the manual choke lever can interfere with the choke linkage. There is no spring to hold the manual lever back, should there be one? Note: even if I hold the manual lever back, the electric choke still does NOT fully close the butterflies.

Can you close the butterflies fully closed by pushing them or do they jam ? Download the parts breakdown from brownspoint.com and make sure that nothing is missing.

No problem manually closing the butterflies. I have cleaned the linkages and the butterfly shafts with slight improvement. Thanks for the suggestion, I will look at he explosded view.
