Pick up an impact screw driver from any auto parts store.
You may also want to try taking the biggest flat head screw driver you have and tap it with a hammer.

Thank you so much gary. picked a hammer impact from auto-zone and it worked great. I've searched a lot today and got some wonderful info. Should i get a new seal for this plug before draing and re-filling

FYI those seals are not o-rings. They're nylon. O-rings leak every time.

Always keep those nylon washers on hand. They need to be replaced at each service.
About 50 cents each at any Johnson Evinrude dealer..
They are a white nylon washer...;)
