88' 225 EVINRUDE VRO.......tach?

Hello...,I'm wanting to "hook" a tach. onto my motor, I do have a OMC control....on the bottom of the control there is a 3 prong plug (female).<br />Is this the "spot" for the tach?<br />Thanks guys.....John.

Yup. And they offer the matching plug with a 3 or 4 foot harness to run to the tach.<br /><br />-John
