Hello All,
I have just acquired a boat that has been sitting in a barn for the last 15 years. Luckily, everything seems to be in pretty good shape except for a few things.
1- basic disused motor maintence
2- need to replace the seating as the vinyl is all cracked and split.
This brings me to #3 the crux of this post. Many years ago it appears that there was a furry critter infestation that has since moved on. However they appear to have used the plumbing as their highway and chewed their own exits (the corrugated bilge lines) I am trying to figure out how to tell what was supposed to go where as some of the lines are completely chewed apart. I need to replace the bilge lines first so I can take it for a shake down cruise. I am not as worried about the live wells as I am not a huge fisherman, but I dont want to sink either.
Questions-
1.should I be more worried about the live well lines?
2. On this boat is there a discernible difference in the type or diameter of the live well and bilge lines?
3. How much of a pain in my a$$ is it going to be to replace all of these with the cap intact?
Any advise or even if someone has a plumbing diagram for this boat would be a god send.
Thanks,
Jamma
