88 bayliner 2.3 cobra

Im new To Boating I just Got This 88 bayliner 2.3 cobra The Guy I got It From Said he had just changed the oil in it well took it to the lake ran it for little bit and it started loosing power and had water in my oil well i checked head gasket it looked good dose anyone know what size motor will fit in there or why i would be getting water in my oil

Mine did the same thing i took it all apart could find no cracks. but had water in my pistons on one side was hard to start. anyway ck your exast and riser for cracks or bad gaskets

oh yea had same motor its ford 4 cly

yeah 2.3 cobra well there is no water on pistons when you say riser what do u mean im new to boating lol
