Howdy, y'all!

I have an 88 Bayliner Capri I/O with about a 22 gallon fuel tank. I need to replace the sending unit on the fuel tank. When I look at the universal units to purchase, they all mention different sizes - 4-12", 6-20", etc. I would imagine that has something to do with tank size, correct?? Depth?? Anyone know, offhand, what size I would need for this particular boat??

THANKS!!

depth of tank is that how long or just straight down...dumb question i know but on my boat depth would seem to be how deep it goes towards the front of the hull...

That's not a foolish (fuelish?) question, especially if your tank is shaped like this...where you can measure the sides, but can't see the center.

You need to cut the wire holding the float to match the one you are taking out.
