'88 conroy X-17 performance

Hey fellow tron'ers
HJust wondering if anyone knows how fast an 88 X17 with an 140 3.0 mercruiser should go, was advertised to goor can go with various props? Also what would be the ideal prop pitch for speed.

I have an 85 conroy cv19 with a 5.0 merc w. 2brl carb with a 19 stainless prop. I had her up to 47mph with 5 people. I love this boat, shes stable, roomy, fast, and attractive. Good luck.
