88 evinrude 140 V4 with vro timing question

I have done a sync and link on this motor and everything is fine except idle, manual says wot timing is 18 degrees BTDC but does not give me throttle pickup timing, (even though it does give procedure for setting it), can anyone let me know what it might be?

Don`t think this motor had pickup timimg. Look in your manual for idle timing.

Idle timing 8 degrees ATDC. Its in the cylmer manual, but hard to find. Page 252. I had to walk out in the hot sun twice for this info.

Thanks clanton, if its any consolation i timed the motor in 3ft of water in between rain showers.
