I've been fighting this demon for a while now I've replaced the r/r the timer base and stator along with 2 brand new batteries
Yet it still doesn't charge at all. While running wot I only have 11.9-12.3 what's left? I tested continuity across the wires and they all have continuity I was considering a new wire harness because mine does have a few brittle places that I have cleaned up and soldered to ensure good continuity. Other then that I'm at a loss. The only other peice of the puzzle is the fly wheel but the magnets are all there. And they are indeed magnetic sucks that flywheel right back down when I go to lift it off.

You've not indicated that you've replaced the combination rectifier/regulator. A likely culprit. The basic 150 engines use current part number 585195. You've not stated which 150 you have. If you have the 150GT with the vented flywheel, the rectifier/regulator is the 35 amp version, current part # 395204. This device sends the charge to the battery and sends a signal to the control box to drive the dash tach. Usually when this device quits working, the tach will usually not function properly, or won't work at all.

It say that he replaced the ---r/r---in post # 1 and I assume that is the rectifier / regulator.

Is the reading AT the gauges? (my buddy pulled his hair out with a low charging rate, and replace just about everything on his Honda 90, turned out the gauge was reading low)!
Try a multi meter on the battery.
With it shut off take a reading, fire it up and rev.
Does it go up?
If it goes up at all then you can just about rule out a bad wire.
I've found with my limited time with things that spend time on the water, connections corrode and do stupid stuff.
Grounds fall off.
I'd clean/inspect ALL my connections, put electrical grease on them, when in doubt, change it!
I have a auto tester for charging systems that I clip on and it narrows the problems down.

Missed that he had replaced the rectifier regulator. Hopefully with the correct one for his engine based on the model number..
