88 johnson 20 new cylinder head assembly questions

I am in the process of replacing the cylinder head. I was hoping you guys could help with a few questions.

#1 what if anything can be done about the hairline crack I found (see photo)

#2 can and should I use emory cloth to clean the block mating surface where the gasket goes

#3 do you use any kind of sealer when installing the head gasket

#4 should I do anything about the carbon on top of the pistons while I am in there

#5 what can be done to make getting the bolts out eaiser in the future

4. No. I would decarb with SeaFoam after assembly to clean up the rings, piston and exhaust.
5. Loctite 242 (blue)
