88 Johnson leaking fuel

Hi, I have an 88 johnson that is leaking fuel in the water, and runing out of gas quickly. when i got home i took the top off the motor and ran it for a while and it didnt seem to loose any gas. Also the fuel was not leaking any where around the carbs. I watched them and also went about half throttle for a bit and again saw no leak.
could it be from the exahuast? and if so it is not visible out of the water.

I forgot to share that it is a 120 hp. sea horse.
