Hi,<br /><br />As the subject suggests my Merc 80 (1988 3cyl) refuses to start. The engine was running fine, switched it off, tried to restart about 10 mins later and it wont fire...<br /><br />Checked it over (albeit at sea with minimal tools) and there doesnt appear to be any spark.<br /><br />The buzzer on the control box sounds for about 2 seconds when the ignition is switched on and then you can kinda hear it trying to sound as the engine is cranked.<br /><br />I have a wiring diagram and will hopefully check it out this weekend, just wondering if there is any common problems on these engines that cause this, or if there's anything in particular I should be looking at..<br /><br />Thanks
