88 omc 5.7 carburetor

Hi,
While doing some other maint. work on the boat i was going to check the carb fuel line inlet filter and got in there and noticed once i had my flare wrench on there that the PO or someone has the nut stripped.....

Anybody know a good tip for getting it off? or just get out some vice grips?

pipe, or monkey wrench, unless you plan on replacing the line. if you crush the nut itself too much, it won't spin. recommendation is to replace the nut at least, if not whole line once off.

Thanks, I remembered the pipe wrench as soon as you said it..

And your right once i get it off i will replace it....
