88 yamaha 115 2-stroke

i notced a fuel leak coming from bottom of air cleaner, so i took off air cover(no filter here ?) and noticed the bottom carb left inlet a jet or something coming up from bottom dumpn fuel, how should i go about repairing this ?

You are right in that there are no air cleaners on the engins.. no dust on the water unlike the road.
It sounds like you may have a stuck float.. but thats a guess on my part as im pretty new to Yamaha outboards and am not sure where you are talking about. No other reason i can think that fule would be comming up into the carb.. anyone else got any ideas?

Most likely a stuck needle. Time to rebuild both carbs and likley need to replace fuel pump by now. Be sure to use new bowl gaskets and needles.
