88' yamaha v130 no spark

Hello everyone, I have a 1987 18ft jason fish and ski with a 1988 yamaha v130 for an outboard. I use the boat 3-4 times a week and it always starts up and runs fine. I let the boat sit for like a week and today I bring it to the lake and it wont fire. The motor cranks over great, nice and fast like it always does. I checked for spark and I don't have any and here's what I did to trouble shoot. I thought maybe this was a kill switch problem so I took the control apart and disconnect the wire that grounds out the spark for both the key switch and the wrist tether and tried to start it and it still had no spark. I don't understand what happened as it was running fine a week ago. If anyone could help me out with this I would really appreciate it. Thanks alot and sorry for the long post.
