My question to any of you that know the Force motors is about syncing the dual carb setup. Do the carbs ever get synced by using a vacuum gauge? Thanks, I appreciate your knowledge.

I do not know, maybe you can do it with vaccum gauge but the OEM service manual call for just sync the throttle butterflies with the bar that connect them.
Disconnect the remote control wire, loose the screws at the bar and let the butterflies travel back to lowest position by the springs at the butterflies.
Then tie the screws at the bar and check the butterflies at WOT.
Both should be horisontal.
Soo why use a gauge when it is so simple to do without!

I've found that remove the throttle linkage and then undo the screw
on the tie bar.
Then retighten and make sure the carbs both open at the same time

Nordin,
My first car had dual carbs for 4 cyls, and a vacuum gauge was needed to sync those carbs. They weren't as easy to set the butterflies as the Force motor, but you could verify sync over a variety of RPMs. I could really get that 1300cc motor running smoothly. If I still had that gauge, I'd give it a try out of curiosity. I've set mine, as you described, and just was wondering if there was a way to verify that they're drawing the same. Thanks.

If... the shutters in carbs. are sync. & even compression on cylinders, you should get an even draw
I'm curios to see where to hook up a gauge to on the Force

I don't think there is a port to hook up a gauge on a Force, but the gauge I used to have was just placed over the mouth of the carb and had a rubber gasket face to seal. A little plastic ball would be drawn up a vertical chamber that had a scale on the side to measure amount of air being pulled past a venturi. In theory all should be equal, but visual inspection may not be quite as accurate. Probably not an issue with these motors.
